We trust you have been having a great week… in-between the sunshine and then the rain! What crazy weather we have in Cape Town??

A BIG BIG thank you to all involved with ENCOUNTER, God truly impacted the lives of many young people. We were so encouraged to see their passion and hunger for Jesus and we believe that with young people like this, the future is bright for South Africa!

This Sunday, we will have a teaching pack available with the messages from Encounter, so grab a copy at the resource centre!

Since we’ve been highlighting the youth, here’s an inspiring story about a young man in our Mitchell’s Plain congregation…

Liam is a 19-year-old guy who has just become the first South African ever to have his own math sum/question in the International Math Olympiad held in Argentina! (His question came 4th in the world – overall). He has just returned from New York today after 6 weeks on an International Math research program that he was selected to be a part of.

We thought you might like to see the award winning Math question. (If you can answer it you are also a mathematical genius!)

Well done Liam (and his mom) who are faithful members of our Mitchell’s Plain congregation, and also serve at Century City on Sunday
