Evening College is Educational and Fun
WHEN IS EVENING COLLEGE?
College meets weekly on a Wednesday night from 7pm – 9.30pm.
We have a two-year course running at the moment, the first year course is broken into 4 streams, which run for 7 weeks each, and our second year has two courses that are 14 weeks each.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
YEAR ONE Subjects: Bible | Leadership | Lifestyle | Theology
YEAR TWO Subjects: Christian Doctrine | New Testament
These courses are designed to increase your knowledge, put tools in your hand to equip you for a more fulfilled Christian life and will be facilitated by our key leaders and weekend speakers.
A TYPICAL NIGHT IS ORGANISED AS FOLLOWS:
- Teaching Sessions: Lecture Style teaching
- Group Session: Homework and previous teaching Sessions are used to stimulate discussion.
- Application Session: This is usually the final session of the evening where application of learning and modeling of desired lifestyle habits will be presented. (These sessions vary in activities including multimedia).
WHO CAN TAKE THE COURSE?
Anyone is welcome who wants to grow his or her faith and understand it more fully. It is ideal both for those who have recently come to a new faith, or those who have been Christians for many years.
COURSE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
A certificate of recognition will be issued upon completion of the course. Consideration may be given to those who have attained the course completion certificate, for accreditation towards further study at Hillsong College in Sydney.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
YEAR ONE
Bible / Lifesyle / Theology and Leadership: R400 earlybird (till 3rd of Feb) and R450 regular rate
YEAR TWO
Christian Doctrine / New Testament: R750 earlybird (till 3rd of Feb) and R800 regular rate.
WHERE WILL EVENING COLLEGE HAPPEN?
Classes will take place at Church, Kinetic Way, off Century Boulevard, Century City
WHAT IS THE TIMETABLE?
Evening College – Provisional Term Dates 2012

YEAR ONE (7 weeks)
- Lifestyle – starting on 1 February 2012
- Theology – starting on 2 May 2012
- Bible - starting on 1 August 2012
- Leadership – starting on 17 October 2012
YEAR TWO (14 weeks)
- New Testament I &II - starting 1 February 2012
- Christian Doctrine I &II – starting 1 August 2012
