Hi Church,

We want to encourage you today that God’s plan is for you to live a fruitful life. His FAVOUR is on us and when we live in his FAVOUR, it will produce FRUITFULNESS!

This fruitful life as described in Galatians 5:22-23 (Message) says – “But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard – things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely…”

As you walk close to God, He energizes you & strengthens you >> your words, your actions & your outlook change. You become aware of God’s plan & purpose for your life, your heart is at peace and that you CAN bless others… It might be as simple as a kind word, a prayer, a smile or a gift. (Even inviting someone to church…) THIS IS ALL FRUIT!

Our prayer is that the people in our church will continue to walk in GOD’s FAVOUR and as we do, we will produce FRUIT that will bless the lives of many, many people across our city.

We have many programs to help people overcome the difficulties of their past, move forward and become fruitful. One of these is the “DIVORCE RECOVERY COURSE“, where you can find support, answers, hope and healing. The next course starts on Wednesday 6 June and runs for 8 weeks. Hi Church,

It’s Mothers’ Day this weekend and we will be doing something very special for all the moms, grandmas, aunties and spiritual moms!

So make sure you bring mom to church, she really does not want to miss what we have planned for her… Plus, a beautiful gift for ALL the girls in church.

Then Sunday evening is TOUCHING HEAVEN Worship Night!! 5pm Century City & 6:30pm Somerset West...These are nights to be refueled & refreshed by the Holy Spirit, we will be taking time to pray for those with special prayer needs and believing God for miracles in May!

So there I was, serving my heart out at COLOUR as a host, not knowing what was about to hit me, or how my life would be impacted. But I soon found myself gawking at Christine Caine and Vera Kasevich as they passionately served us on stage, two women of God, who are totally sold out for Jesus, making the world a better place. Their anointing blessed us and I could truly sense Jesus all around me and throughout the Arena.

As the speakers spoke into my life and my dreams, I realised that I can make a difference too. I felt so valued, so united with the other women, and I knew that, even though I was only one of many volunteers serving that weekend, my part was vital and I was contributing to something HUGE. Not only was I serving the women there, but I was serving my sisters and, most importantly, I was serving my JESUS.

I will always remember that weekend – Selah, Baby, Selah! I never want to miss a COLOUR Conference for as long as I live, and I’ll make sure that the women in my world never miss one either. I realised I was born to serve a God that never ceases to absolutely amaze me!

This year, on my Easter holiday, I brought two friends from Sri Lanka with me to Cape Town and we met up with an American friend named Jen here in the city.

This testimony is about Jen. Although she has been a born-again Christian for many years, she has really struggled to grasp the work and manifestation of the Holy Spirit. We have been trying to explain it to her for more than a year.

Well, at COLOUR, when Bobbie Houston asked us all to pray, and to pray in our Heavenly languages, the presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong that my friend Jen was overwhelmed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Afterwards, we asked her to share her experience and she said that she felt her body shaking and even as if her soul was shaking. A few days later she said that the negative disposition that she’d been struggling with for many years was gone and that she felt free.

Praise God!! We are all so happy that we attended COLOUR. We were so blessed, and so inspired to change our worlds.

I hadn’t thought of it that way myself – I just thought the men served because there was a need. So I asked a few of the guys in my life what serving at COLOUR meant to them, and this is what they said:

Seeing women coming in, not sure what COLOUR is about, and then seeing them leave all fired up to “Flourish for GOD” really stirred something within me too. I was even more amazed when Craig Algie shared in our Connect Group how a bunch of men, who regularly serve at Sisterhood, have decided to collectively set aside money every month to sponsor girls who can’t afford to go to COLOUR 2013. ‘There is simply no reason why any girl should miss out on the opportunity to go to COLOUR and encounter our miraculous God,’ Craig added.

Not only was God alive and working in the lives of women during COLOUR, but He was also impacting the guys and brothers in our lives! Thank you to all the men who served so wholeheartedly during the conference! I love the way my friend Langelihle Caleb puts it: ‘4000 women, plus 600 eager volunteers, multiplied by one miraculous God, equals lives of men and women forever impacted! Boom!’

On the Thursday night after COLOUR, all of us gathered together to bask in the glow of what God had done in our lives. We spent almost two hours laughing, crying, and retelling what had been spoken over us and what God had done deep in our hearts. One of the highlights for our girls was what Vera Kasevich said about family, which has inspired us to love and appreciate our families in new and radical ways.

Christine Caine spoke great truths into our hearts, especially to do with creating Ishmaels in our own worlds, i.e. when we don’t trust God but try to make our own plans. Many of the women confessed to having Ishmaels in their lives, and expressed a new desire to trust God and wait on Him. We want to live in faith and trust God for what He has promised for our lives!

Overall, the conference was deeply personal to our ladies and God touched us all individually. The Ocean View girls felt abundantly loved by everyone at Hillsong – the volunteers, and all the people involved in putting on the conference. My friend Charlene said that, ever since COLOUR, she has felt like she has had an ‘adrenaline shot’, and we all agree! We are very grateful for God’s love, and Hillsong’s partnership, and VERY EXPECTANT for what God has ahead for us!

“Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.” (Psalm 40:5)

Hi Church,

We are honoured to have Ps. Robert Fergusson with us this Sunday! Ps. Robert is an anointed bible teacher and speaks with great authority… He always brings a fresh word for our church, we are looking forward to Sunday with great expectation. This Sunday, we will also be celebrating communion in our morning services, this is a significant moment as we remember that VICTORY that is ours through Jesus… We encourage to join with us and allow the time of communion to breathe life into your spirit and peace into your heart.
